The Q-Track is a wearable breath by breath CPX system that allows you to conduct VO2 and VCO2 measurements  almost anywhere.  With a total system weight of only 1.2 Kg, it does not impede normal exercise and adds very little load to the subject, especially when worn in a body harness.  Data are displayed on a battery-powered interface and analyzed using sophisticated, but intuitive software.

The Q-Track, with its touchscreen interface, is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery pack that provides +8 hours of power in the field. The NDIR CO2 analyzer and fuel cell O2 sensor provide extremely accurate measurements of breath gases, while the pneumotach spirometer exceeds ATS standards for monitoring breath flow and volume.

Q-Track Software

The Q-Track software allows for numerous data display options, including raw and calculated data shown in graphical, meter and spreadsheet formats.  All data are available for post-exercise manipulation by the user.  The software has a comprehensive suite of statistical and mathematical functions, allowing for second by second visualization, or averaging over what ever time period is selected.

Raw Data

Q-Track software has numerous pages within a single file, allowing the user to plot any measured or calculated parameter against any other parameter.  The software constructs the 9 panel Wasserman graphs automatically.  Selection of data ranges with a mouse click allows curve fitting and averaging during phases of exercise and recovery.   All data may be downloaded in spreadsheet format if required.

Wasserman Plots

The compact LabQuest 2 interface has three analog inputs for CO2, O2 and pressure, as well as a digital input for heart rate.   Data may be displayed on the touch screen as graphs and meters.  During ambulatory use, the LabQuest 2 stores data in memory for later download and analysis in Q-Track software.  It may also be attached directly to a Mac or PC desktop or laptop for full instantaneous analysis of all CPX parameters.
